About
The Brazil Africa Institute (IBRAF) is a non-profit organization that aims to promote international cooperation and engagement between Brazil and the African continent, defending the social and economic development of countries, boosting the convergence of governments agendas with the private sector interests, and the enhancement of multilateral relations.
IBRAF has expertise as a facilitator of good practices. We create and encourage initiatives that promote trade and investments, technical and scientific cooperation, professional training and the strengthening of academic research, leading to sustainable development.
Strategy
We promote an open debate between government agents, private sector representatives, entrepreneurs, academics and third sector entities on issues of interest to Brazil and Africa. Our projects are made to stimulate international cooperation. We are able to leverage diverse initiatives to provide solutions to our partners and other stakeholders.
