Established in 1976, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (formelly known as thIslamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture), is an affiliated institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the sole representative for the private sector of all its 57 Member Countries.
ICCD works very closely and in tandem with the National Chambers, Unions, Federations of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of its member countries, International Organizations to advocate for strengthened international collaboration in the fields of trade, commerce, information technology, insurance/reinsurance, shipping, banking, promotion of investment opportunities and joint ventures.
