The Trilateral Cooperation Brazil-Germany is a strategic partnership between the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). Since the early 2000s, Brazil and Germany have been joining forces to support sustainable development initiatives in partner countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia, promoting good practices and successful public policies to be adapted to local needs through the exchange of experiences, technologies, and knowledge.
