The International Society for Human Rights – Morocco (ISHR Morocco) is a national section of the globally recognized International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), an independent, non-governmental organization founded on the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations on December 10, 1948. ISHR Morocco was officially established in 2022 and is represented nationally by Salem Mohamed Ilyas, Associate and Country Delegate of ISHR Morocco.
Our mission is to defend human rights, promote social justice, and raise awareness of environmental challenges. We work to strengthen civic engagement, deliver education on human rights, and implement sustainable development projects that serve local communities, particularly youth and marginalized groups.
As part of the broader ISHR network, we are committed to fostering international understanding, intercultural dialogue, and tolerance across all areas of society. We operate independently of any political party, government, or religious affiliation, maintaining a strictly non-profit and neutral stance.
Through advocacy, capacity-building, and grassroots action, ISHR Morocco contributes to advancing human rights and empowering youth as agents of positive change both nationally and across borders.
