CAREC is actively engaged with key stakeholders across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan through established regional networks. As Secretariat of the One Health program, CAREC coordinates cross-sector collaboration among government ministries in health, environment, agriculture, and food systems, supporting regional dialogue and strategy development.
The organization partners closely with civil society, academic institutions, and local experts, involving them as trainers and facilitators in environmental initiatives. CAREC also works directly with municipal authorities and agro-business networks to enable on-the-ground implementation of pilot projects.
Through platforms like Regional climate action transparency hub (ReCATH) and its climate transparency networks, CAREC supports national governments in policy development and capacity building. Its technical training programs enhance expertise in climate action, methane reduction measures (CA CBMER) and sustainable agriculture.
This broad stakeholder engagement positions CAREC to effectively coordinate regional methane reduction efforts, foster knowledge exchange, support regulatory improvements, and attract investment across Central Asia.
