Women’s rights are human rights – As we embark on this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) joins the campaign to amplify the voices against Gender-Based Violence.
We seize this opportunity to recognize the transformative potential of South-South and triangular cooperation in addressing the challenge of gender-based violence (GBV). Fostering collaboration among developing countries has become a catalyst for positive change. Through the exchange of best practices, cultural insights, and resources, countries within the Global South are collectively building capacity, harmonizing policies, and bolstering advocacy efforts to effectively combat gender-based violence.
